Dylans Webelos & Arrow Of Light

The scouts and their awesome scout master

Talking up my boy to the audience

Dylan and the other scouts with their Arrow Of Lights donated from the Happy Factory

On Thursday Dylan earned his Webelos award along with the Arrow Of Light Award. They are the highest awards you can earn in the cub scouting program. We are very proud of him, he is such a good example to his younger brothers! He has been working toward this since he turned eight years old in scouts and done a lot of hard work and has been really dedicated. He's such a good boy and we are sooo looking forward to being a Boy Scout in about a month, then on to his eagle award (hopefully)!

My Cute Helper

I just love this picture, so I had to put it up. I think he looks so cute in his little apron and hot pads. He really does love to help me in the kitchen. And who doesn't love a man that can cook!

Christmas 2009

This year for Christmas we started out by having our annual Christmas Eve dinner at my house with mine and Tylers families. The kids get to exchange presents with their cousins and it was a good time! After the dinner went up to the cemetery and put a candle on my moms grave. Its amazing to see the cemetery in the dark on Christmas Eve all the graves are lit up with candles, its kinda a cool tradition. Christmas morning we woke up early to see if Santa came to visit us. Yup he sure did and probably went a little overboard. The funny thing is the kid who claims he doesn't believe in Santa was the most excited of all. Especially about his Red Sox jersey you would have thought he died and went to heaven. The main thing Santa brought my kids: Dylan got a pitching/ hitting net, Karsten got a Lego City, and Jaxon got a new bike! After opening the presents we drove to Fillmore to have dinner with my Grandma and my family. We went to my Aunt Bonnies to play the Wii after. My kids are quite good at Dance Dance revolution, it pretty funny Karsten gets really into it. I however wasn't. Then we played guitar hero, just because you can play the drums in real life doesn't mean you can play them on the game, my Dad is the perfect example of that. He was getting frustrated because he is an amazing drummer and has been in bands and can"t play on the Wii kinda funny. (he didn't think so) All in all it was a good Christmas and a much needed break from school and work for all of us. We stayed up way too late and got up way too late all break so this morning was rough but we did it! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!!
