Dylan (& his brothers) Work at a Dairy Farm

My kids are famous for stalling at bedtime and taking three times as long to do things like brush their teeth as it should. So...the other night we were going through the usual battle of getting our kids in bed an hour or so after their bedtime, and Dylan was in our bathroom taking out his contacts. Tyler says to him "Dylan you should work at a Dairy Farm" Dylan was completely confused and asked why. Tyler asks him "what do they do to a cow at a Dairy Farm Dylan?" Dylans reply "MILK IT". I almost fell off the bed I was laughing sooo hard. Tyler precedes to tell him he'd be a pro and get hired right on. Dylans only response to this was "Shut Up Dad" I thought this was pretty funny and wanted to share, and am also hoping my kids aren't the only ones who have perfected this stalling technique!

This year for Easter we had a great time despite the weather. My kids had a great spring break they hung out with friends, went to the movies, had sleepovers, watched and listened to conference, and hung out as a family. On Friday we celebrated my niece Jade's first birthday, I cant believe she's one already, time flies. She loved her cake and was covered in green frosting from head to toe. Saturday morning we took our kids to the Easter egg hunt at the city offices, the place we usually go wasn't doing it this year and I was really bummed but this worked out just fine, they just didn't get as much stuff. On Sunday the Easter bunny came and spoiled my kids again this year bringing them clothes, pillowcases, and waay too much candy along with eggs full of money that they had to find.
After that we went to the sand dunes with my whole family, we only stayed a short while because of the weather but we were able to ride the fourwheelers, roll the eggs down the hill, and visit. After that we had a nice dinner at my Grandmas house and celebrated Jade's birthday. We were able to go shoot skeet before we came home, my kids loved it and are actually fairly good shots. All in all a busy but fun Easter, I hope all of yours were great also. Oh yeah and the best part of Sunday the Boston Red Sox beat the Yankees...Yeah Baby!
