My boys got these shirts for free they were so excited
Tyler had a three day weekend because of Pioneer Day, so we took advantage of it and went Salk Lake for a mini vacation. We started off by being in the parade on the fire truck, it's actually the airport truck, I personally think it's ugly but my husband is obsessed with it and thinks it's the coolest thing ever, so we just had to be in that one! After the parade we headed to Salt Lake to go school shopping, which is not fun with 4 boys. They all really don't care, they sit and complain about how long it's taking including my husband. I should have just went by myself and maybe spent the money on me :) They don't care if they get new clothes anyways, but I sure do I guess that's the difference between boys & girls! That night we went to the Real soccer game, it was so fun, they ended up winning after being down by 2 after the first half. After the game they had fireworks set to music, it was really cool. On Saturday we went to Lagoon with my sisters family and my cousin Alisca, it was sooo HOT! We saved the water rides until the end of the day because we didn't want to walk around wet all day long, but it didn't matter because we were sweating so bad anyways YUCK. The next day we went to a Bees Baseball game with Alisca and I think it was hotter than the day before. We had seats right behind home plate, but ended up moving to the upper bowl about half way through so we could be in the shade. It was a fun game they ended up winning by 10. It was a double header but we left halfway through the 2nd game so we could get home before midnight! The weekend went way too fast but we had fun and did lots of fun things! I hope you all had a fun 24th too!

I Did It

I survived girls camp, with 40+ girls in our ward that's quite amazing! I had a ton of fun though, we spent 3 nights and 4 days camping in the heat and the dirt. The stake theme was "Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful", which is kinda hard out in the dirt but they had a lot of great lessons for the girls. I was really nervous about everything going well, having enough food and all the girls getting along, especially in such close quarters. The drama was kept to a minimum and we had tons of laughs, like all the beehives playing games and all the laurels talking about boys and wanting to know all the leaders first kiss stories:) I am so glad I was able to go and had such great leaders to work with. Can't wait till next year (maybe)

Happy Birthday Karsten & Tyler

Seven years ago (yesterday) The funniest little boy in the world was born at 10:30 p.m. After lots of problems and spending a week in the hospital we got to bring our baby home! And our lives have never been the same since. Tyler really wanted Karsten born on his birthday, but he just couldn't wait an hour and a half. We started out celebrating Karstens birthday with a friend party on Saturday we took the kids to Ice Age 3 It was so funny if you havent seen it you need to go. Some lady @ the movie asked me if all the kids were mine. A duh, Yes I have 7 kids all under the age of ten and 5 of them are age 7 and look nothing alike, funny how that works. I love people and their comments:) Anyways... on Sunday we had a family party for Karsten and Tyler with cake and ice cream and lots of presents. It was FUN, I love to celebrate them together it's a lot less work for me. So Happy Birthday to two very important boys in my life I love you both, and hope Tyler you have a wonderful birthday today and to Karsten I hope you enjoyed turning 7!

Karsten & Jaxon ready to go

To start off the fourth of July weekend we went up to Yankee on Friday where Tylers parents were camping and rode fourwheelers and went fishing. Me and Jaxon both caught a fish mine was teeny tiny and his was double the size. He was so excited it was the first fish he has ever caught. On our way home there was a girl on the frontage road that her car was on fire and we were the first ones there. So Tyler and my Dad got out and called 911 I felt really bad for her she was a little stressed. So the cops and fire dept came and sprayed water, lucky for us we were already on scene so Tyler got payed anyway:) I was glad she was okay and we were there to help. The next morning we went to the parade with my family then had a BBQ at my house. For dinner we were able to go with the firefighters families to where they set up fireworks and eat dinner and watch the firefighters get ready for the show. We had front row seats for the fireworks where the ash was falling on us (maybe we were a little too close) My older kids loved it, Jaxon not so much, which is weird because other years he's been just fine. So he sat in the truck during the whole show because he was scared. Afterwards we came back to my house and lit our own fireworks! All in all it was a really fun and exhausting weekend. I am glad I live in a free country and get to celebrate Independence Day!!
