Baseball 2011

Karsten up to bat

Dylan playing the outfield

Jaxon playing t-ball

We made it through another baseball season...barely. It was

pretty crazy at our house having all three boys play baseball this spring. We required a lot of extra help from Grandma and Whitnee to get them all where they needed to be. Dylan played on the Lions again this year in majors. They did really well with winning 11 and losing 6. They took third in the regular season and second in the play offs. It was so fun to watch the boys improve so much from last year and not lose too many players. He had a great coach named Travis Johnson, who really took the team so far. Karsten played on Cedar Ortho in Minors this year. It was his first year in little league, and he was fun to watch. His team did so good they took first in the season winning 12 and only losing 4. They also took second in the play offs. It was crazy having a lot of their games overlap, and trying to see every game. Jaxon played his first year of t-ball this year. Their team name was also the Lions. He was so excited to play, he absolutely love baseball. You would have thought he was going to the world series his first game. He talked about it all day and got ready at nine in the morning. He even had his bat bag packed and ready go! He really is so good for his age, his coach said he was the best player on the team. He knows all the rules and even rounds first base. haha! I think we might be really bored at our house and not know what to do with ourselves now that baseballs over...guess we'll just have to wait for football in the fall.

Kannarra Falls-Memorial Day 2011

The Falls

Nick & Beth

The water was a little high and way COLD, but we had a fun time anyways going on a hike on memorial day. We hiked the Kannarraville Falls for Memorial day this year and convinced my brother Nick and his girlfriend Beth that they wanted to join us. I think they were regretting it pretty soon into the hike. The water was so cold because of the runoff we about froze! Jaxon didnt mind though, he got carried by his dad through all the water, he was having a great time.
My boys love to be outside doing anything, so there wasnt too much complaining. We had a fun time but will probably wait until later in the summer to try it again next time.

2nd Year Presidential

Karsten received his 2nd year presidential award the last day of school.
