YW General Broadcast

The leaders: Karen, Ginger, Me & Wendy

The girls that came in my car:)

In front of the SLC temple
On Saturday I was able to go to the General YW Broadcast and it was AWESOME! We had a great time as a ward, we took up about 21 young women. We went shopping, had lunch, went to the broadcast, then had dinner and it was great. I've never been in the conference center before and it is huge. It was amazing to see the prophet and the apostles. The speakers did a great job, especially Elder Uchtdorf his was my favorite. It was a long and tiring but great day!

Manti Temple

Everyone that came

My Dad and his little sisters Vikki and Bonnie

Last Saturday we were finally able to make it to the Manti temple to get my Grandpa Gunners endowments and his sealing to his parents done. We have been trying to go since January and things kept coming up or the weather ruined our plans. It was such a special day for all of us, especially all of his kids (my dad and his sisters). The Manti temple is beautiful and probably one of my favorites. The weather started to turn bad that day, so we left Fillmore at 6:20 and got home about 10:00 that night. It was awful what was supposed to take us and hour and a half to get home took us 3 hours and forty minutes, my kids were going NUTS! At some of the slowest points we were going 8 on the freeway because of the snow, It was crazy! I told Tyler just think how blessed we are going to be sacrificing all this time and our patience to make it to the temple:) It really was a special day and I am so glad the work for my Grandpa if done and that everyone endowed in his family was able to be there!

I'm Not Even Gonna Say

I know, I know you're all so sick of reading about birthdays at my house so I'm not even gonna talk about it except that we had a great time tubing @ Woods Ranch and eating pizza for Dylans 11th birthday party with the FRIENDS. These boys are a CRACK UP! So here are the pics just to document, I promise I'm not trying to bore all of you. And here's to not celebrating another kids birthday till July! YAY

Happy Birthday Dylan

Dylan turns eleven today and it makes me want to cry! I can't believe he is that old, the time has flown. I also can't believe how old that makes me:( 11 years ago at 5:20 pm he came into this world weighing 6 lbs. 12oz. and was such a sweet baby, so good all the time and not much has changed since. He is such a good kid, and we are so proud of him. He is an excellent student, very smart, kind to others, and such a good friend and big brother! He is an avid Red Sox and Jazz fan, he loves to play soccer, baseball, football, and basketball. He loves hanging out with his friends and going to all the high school games, having sleepovers, and playing sports outback with them, no matter the temperature or the weather conditions. We feel truly blessed he is part of our family. Happy Birthday Dylan!

Who Is This Kid?

Dylan got contacts for his Birthday which hasn't officially happened yet... but he looks like a new kid. You can actually see his face now! He was so excited to get these, he's been waiting since he had to first get glasses over a year ago. He first tried to do hard contacts and lets just say that didn't go well. So now were doing soft and he loves them, putting them in is kinda tricky for him but he is a whizz at getting them out!

Jaxons Birthday poster for his school

We celebrated Dylan and Jaxons birthdays last week with family. Since they are only two weeks apart I make it easier on myself and combine the festivities! They are so spoiled rotten, they got tons of stuff! Jaxon got new church clothes, a t-ball set, basketball hoop, lincoln logs, red sox hat and jersey, a jazz jersey and hat, and money! Dylans loot includes: contacts, a jazz jersey, soccer cleats, shoes, 3D Rubik's cube, a soccer ball, new scout shirt, and money! I can't believe on Wednesday that I will have an 11 year old, jeez how the time has flown. I keep telling my kids to stop growing and stay little but they don't listen:( The party was fun and were glad almost everyone was able to come!
