It's Broken...

I've been without a computer for a week now so here we go. Last thursday night me & Ty went to play in our softball game. We were in the last inning and... I was playing catcher and someone was running home so the shortstop threw the ball home to me and I didnt get my mit turned in time so the ball hit the outside of my glove. I yanked my glove off and swore (oops). I knew instantly that it was broken, so me being me I put my glove back on and finished playing the game. That night we went home and my hand was killing me all night, but Im way too stubborn to go to the ER (that costs way too much.) So on Friday I went to Delcore's office and sure enough its broken. It's called a Bennett Fracture and here's the kicker...I have to have surgery on Friday to pin my thumb back up where it should be:( I'm way nervous I havent had surgery since I was 8 years old and get this it was to reset my arm because I had broken it. Do you think im accident prone or what? Thank goodness its my left hand, you never realize how hard it is to do things without a hand until you dont have one. Doing my hair and buttoning my pants up are the worst, good thing for sisters doing my hair and husbands who are willing to button my pants (when they're around) So the question now is what color cast do I get???
