Crazy Week

This week has been seriously insane! I have had 2 sick kids and also been serving on jury duty since last Friday. I was summoned to court on Friday for jury selection and had to return Monday for them to pick who they wanted. If you know me you know I have awful luck, my husband told me before anything even started that I would be picked. Guess what he was right, it was my second time being on a jury. The trial started on Tuesday, and if you live around here I'm sure you know which trial it was. The state vs. Bryan Featherhat. He shot Jason Thomas the cop right in the chest with a shot gun twice. Anyways needless to say we found him guilty of attempted murder and aggravated robbery. The trial took three days to go through all the evidence and witnesses, and only 2 hours to reach a verdict. I'm actually glad I was on the trial, it was very interesting and very emotional for me although I am glad it is over. Now I have done my civic duty and hopefully won't get called for a long time to come. During the week I have also had Jaxon and Karsten both get sick with a fever for a day and a half, so thank goodness for husbands who can come home from and work and for mother-in-laws! They both saved me so I could go to court and not end up in jail! So tonight to end my crazy week my dance girls are performing at the Talon craft fair, and Dylan is singing in his school choir there. After that I am going to SLC with some of my friends for Sherri's b-day to catch the 11:00 Twilight movie and go to the play Into The Woods on Saturday! I am so excited and looking forward to the break from my hectic life. Pictures are soon to come!!
