Today is the first day of school for my kids. Dylan is in 5th grade and Karsten is in 2nd.

Today is also my Dad's birthday! We celebrated last night, my brother made dinner for everyone and we had cake and ice cream. He is 54 years old, he still looks pretty young though! It was kinda hard without my mom there it's his first birthday without her. Happy Birthday to my Dad I hope you have a great day!

It seems like all the "firsts" are so hard to get through. I hope he is doing ok! I hope all of you are doing ok. Glad to see you guys still getting together so much. That is what really pulls you through!
I can't believe summer is already over and school has started! Time really does fly and your kids are getting so big. Hope your dad's birthday was a good one! I am sure it was pretty hard but you have been so strong through all of it!
Glad you could all get together for your Dad's Birthday, I am sure it meant a lot to him. Your boys look so cute on their first day of school. Is it really here already?!
